Vespa's Primitivo di Manduria "Raccontami" is the flagship red from the cellar of the famous and popular television journalist. It is a version of Primitivo di great richness and concentration , which aims to bring to the fore the persuasive softness and enveloping charm of this historic vine, which has now become the emblem of Puglia in the world and increasingly loved on foreign markets. The long aging in barrique helps to make the tannins velvety and enrich the sip with deep, broad and persistent spicy and tertiary sensations.
The red "Raccontami" by Bruno Vespa is a Primitivo with a strong personality, which faithfully reflects the salient characteristics of this ancient red grape variety in the lands of Manduria. The warm, Mediterranean climate brings the grapes to full ripeness with an extraordinary richness of aromas and sugars and the clay-rich soils give power and structure to the wine. Son of a sunny and generous land, which is located just 90 meters above sea level, it is a red that perfectly represents the warmth of this area of Puglia. A true and sincere terroir wine! The vineyards are between 15 and 20 years old, are trained using spurred cordon with a density of 5000 vines per hectare and produce only 45 quintals per hectare. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for about two weeks, accompanied by numerous punchings. A 20% drain is then carried out to further concentrate the aromas and the wine matures for 12 months in French oak barriques before being bottled.

In the glass it has a brilliant ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is broad and persuasive, with aromas of blackberries, plums, black cherries, cocoa, balsamic nuances, hints of sweet tobacco, oriental spices and noble woods. The the sip is soft and caressing , with a dense and deep fruit in the center of the mouth, accompanied by sweet tannins and a persistent and harmonious finish.
