Old Grappa Caffo 70cl

Testimony to Caffo's great experience in the field of liqueurs and spirits, this grappa is obtained from the artisanal distillation, in a discontinuous copper still in a bain-marie and steam, of selected batches of pomace, both red and white. Subsequently aged for an undefined period in oak barrels , to then be bottled with the mention of on the label "old" , to underline its great elegance and refined structure, is a product that best represents the great experience of Caffo, who has been his own distiller since the 19th century. Over a century of activity to give life to a grappa that is not a simple grappa, but a storyteller of entire generations.

Clear and bright amber yellow color, with golden reflections. The complex nose expresses sweet notes of acacia honey, wood and vanilla, with hints of caramel and toasted hints of coffee and tobacco, with dried fruit of hazelnuts and almonds. Tasting reveals a round and warm body, important in the fine and harmonious structure, supported by the right freshness that lightens the palate, towards a closure that never ends, on long toasted references.
