Vermouth Martini Extra Dry 1Litre

Description

THE DIFFERENT VERMOUTH

Known to all as aperitif and as a necessary ingredient for the preparation of multiple cocktails , Vermouth is a flavored fortified wine with herbs, whose origins date back to the early nineteenth century in Turin. The basis of this fantastic product is wine (originally the Moscato di Canelli ) which must be present at least 75% of the total, to which sugar, ethyl alcohol, aromatic herbs, spices and flavorings are added. The latter are fundamental for giving Vermouth the peculiar characteristics that distinguish it. Arthemisia Absinthum , commonly known as Absinthe, is among the basic ingredients, as well as around thirty other spices which, however, remain the secret of the various producers. Martini & Rossi is among the best known and specialized companies for the production of this exceptional aperitif.

Very bright greenish straw colour, it has intense but at the same time delicate aromas of currant and lemon, together with floral hints of iris and darker tones that recall wood and Sherry. The taste is complex, dry and well balanced in fruity and floral references, with a taste that never leads to bitterness but which progresses, sweet and rounded, towards a pleasantly satisfied palate.

Launched for New Year's Eve 1900, Extra-Dry is the elegant, fresh ingredient for the perfect cocktail! Whether drunk straight or with ice or added to juices and other spirits, it helps to make them complete and intriguing .
